Advisory role for CIA groupware application

If you visit CNN.com with any regularity, you may have seen the story about a new "Facebook for Spies" groupware application known as "A-space."  I'm proud to report the CIA asked me to advise them on computer security for this new information sharing portal.

The reporter hit the nail on the head when he wrote "The creators of A-Space do not want it to be used by some future double agent such as Jonathan Pollard or Robert Hanssen to steal America's 21st-century secrets."  That's were my advice will come into play.  My ideas may seem radical to some but, if we do the right things in computer security, none of the thousands of U.S. and U.K. spies who use A-space will be able to give the data to our enemies.  If only the rest of America's computers were that secure.

I want to take just a moment to thank former White House cyberspace advisor Richard A. Clarke for my new advisory role at the CIA.  I'm very grateful to him for urging them to exploit my skill sets.  It's always an honor to be recognized by such an esteemed figure in the clandestine computer security world.
